Daisho Con

Serra from Division 10 of anime Detour brings the report of Daisho Con.  Plus Pics!! w00t!

We took on the Risembool Rangers that Friday night for Dodgeball/Risenball in an 'Action Room" that Daisho had set up for more violent activity, like Dodgeball and foam swordfighting. While the room had mirrors,it didn't seem to be an issue as we had one Nerf ball and a lot of paper balls. While the Skirts took the first set of three, the Rangers came from behind to win.

Although the Skirts did what some would call "lose", everyone won this session of Dodgeball/Risemball because everyone involved (including the dozen and more who weren't Rangers or Skirts but were interested in Dodgeball) had a great time and everyone was their kind, gracious selves and I had NO Skirts that were not anything but the best representatives of what it means to be a Skirt that I had seen, although I am able to say that about any gathering of Skirts I've ever been to.

I'm proud of our Skirts--not only taking losing graciously and with nothing but good humor. I'm also happy to have met all the Rangers I've met that trip--they as well were nothing but the best ideals of being a Ranger and making their Leader proud of them. And, now the short version:

We lost but we were awesome anyhow and so were the winners. Everyone was epic--an Epic example of being whichever fan clubber they were!

We had a blast--cookies and punch--and can't wait for next year when Daisho might have a Leader for its own Division.
